Glad to see ND with three top 100 guys in the bag. I was actually surprised that their latest verbal, DE Justin Trattou, was not in the top 100. Folks up here are saying he's the best defensive player in NJ.

Also, I have seen at least two articles about Clausen's leadership abilities, and how he is "recruiting" other talent for ND. The next several years could be a ton of fun.:hyper:

44 Mark Barnes ***** 6.0 6-3/190/4.57 Columbia, SC WR
47 Quintin Richardson ***** 6.0 6-4/270/5 Columbia, SC OT South Carolina
70 Pat Bostick **** 5.9 6-3/220/4.85 Lancaster, PA PQB Pittsburgh
88 Stephen Garcia ***** 5.9 6-3/212/4.65 Tampa, FL DQB

Underrated:
16 Noel Devine ***** 6.1 5-8/175/4.4 North Fort Myers, FL RB (easily top 5)
26 Gary Gray ***** 6.1 5-10/170/4.5 Columbia, SC CB South Carolina (should be ~10 spots higher)
39 Duval Kamara ***** 6.0 6-5/209/4.6 Hoboken, NJ WR Notre Dame (~5-10 spots higher)
71 Trinton Sturdivant ***** 5.9 6-6/285/5.1 Wadesboro, NC OT Georgia (This is the one that really jumps out to me; I know that he's the top OL on the board of pretty much every ACC and SEC school)
90 Greg Little **** 5.9 6-3/208/4.5 Durham, NC ATH (top 50 guy)

Word on the ND board is that both Devine and Sturdivant (particularly Devine) may have trouble qualifying at any school. Also, I think Devine has a few kids, if I remember my internet rumors correctly. He's supposedly a total headcase. That's why you see no offers next to Devine's name, and probably why he is lower than you would have thought.

Yeah, I know Devine is a headcase... I remember him living with Deion Sanders for a few months and then running away or something like that.

His recruiting film is just sick though. I especially like the screen play at the 8:34 mark of the film.

Also, did you see this article saying CJ Spiller (Clemson commit - #8 overall 2006) was the next Reggie Bush. I try not to get too hyped, but that comment gave me wood.

Scout came out with their top 100. Clausen is #3 behind Austen and Devine. Korn is #25.

Saw that... Scout sucks, though. :D

Seriously though, they always do a more half-assed job of ranking players unless they're going to UF (Newberg-bias spice@#%@). Also, they almost always rate players on offers, but when someone commits early (ala Korn), they're punished. Then you get a lot of people like Peanut Whitehead who was a 3 star all year last year, gets an offer from FSU and a few others, *bam* he's a 5 star.

Quick thing on Noel Devine that I heard.

He does have two kids -- because of that, I hear he wants to stay close to home (FL).

So far from FL, only FSU has offered. UF nor Miami has offered yet - UF likely won't offer at all, but Miami might.

USC has four on the Rivals top 100 so far: LB Chris Gallipo, RB Marc Tyler, RB Broderick Green and QB Aaron Corp!

Many more targets on that list for USC as well, PC is off to a great start recruiting, again!

Also, I heard he's a psycho and has no shot at qualifying. Good luck to whoever gets stuck with this kid.:sadbanana:
