This is the one and only dual edition -- it has two players that I think are equally talented and both are Michigan QBs. I'll let the one or two people that actually read these argue over who's better, if you're so inclined...

# 23A -- Chad Henne, QB, Michigan

Class: Junior
Position: QB
Height/Weighgt: 6-2 • 226
Hometown: Wyomissing, Pa.
High School: Wilson High School

Career Stats:

Passing Stats
YEAR TEAM CMP ATT PCT YDS AVG TD LNG INT RAT
2004 MICH 240 399 60.2 2743 6.9 25 69 12 132.6
2005 MICH 223 382 58.4 2526 6.6 23 54 8 129.6

Who is he:
Henne, along with previous entry Mike Hart, are the driving forces behind Lloyd Carr's offense in Ann Arbor. Henne came in as a freshman when the Wolverines were in need of a QB and put up outstanding stats completing just over 60.2%. He also had over a 2:1 TD:INT ratio as a freshman and nearly improved it to a 3:1 ratio in his follow-up sophmore year. He's an extremely accurate passer who's got the guts to make the big throws like his pass to Mario Manningham on the last play of the Penn St. game. I expect big numbers again from Henne who might be bolting from Ann Arbor after this year. If he stays through his senior year, all records will fall.

Notes:
- Freshman All American 2004
- All-Big Ten honorable mention (coaches and media)
- Scripps/Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-America
- Rivals.com Freshman All-America first team
- The Sporting News Freshman All-America first team
- The Sporting News Freshman All-Big Ten
- Finished as the top true freshman quarterback statistically in Michigan and Big Ten history

What to Expect in ’06:
Henne has some talented WRs to throw to in Breaston and Manningham. Also, it's unfair to think that Henne has peaked in just 2 years, so his stats should continue to imrpove. By adding in a 12th game to this year's schedule, you should see some monster stats out of Henne this year. If he can keep his completion % hovering at the 60% mark, then I see no reason he can't come close to topping 3,000 yards this season.
Projection: 245-400 passing (61%), 3000 Yards, 26 TDs, 9 INTs

# 23B -- Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State

Class: Senior
Height / Weight: 6-3 / 222
Position: QB
Hometown: Farmington Hills, Mich.
High School: Harrison
Birthdate: 05/07/84

Career Stats:

YEAR TEAM CMP ATT PCT YDS AVG TD LNG INT RAT
2003 MSU 2 3 66.7 39 13.0 0 31 0 175.9
2004 MSU 141 220 64.1 1601 7.3 8 57 6 131.8
2005 MSU 236 354 66.7 3077 8.7 22 75 12 153.4

Who is he:
Stanton returns to a below-average Michigan St. team to lead the Spartans in his senior year. He's a very accurate passer, boasting a career completion percentage over 65%! After a decent sophmore campaign, Stanton really played well in his junior season, racking up over 3,000 yards and passing for 22 TDs to just 12 INTs. The team as a whole was pretty poor, but Stanton's talent kept them competitive and he even led them to victory at Notre Dame in a shootout. Stanton is on the radar of many pro scouts and is expected to go sometime in the first round. He's got a big time arm, and enough mobility (687 rushing as a SO, 338 as a JR) to get out of the pocket and make plays. If the defense could step it up this year, Stanton should be able to lead the Spartans to a bowl game.

Notes:
- Academic All Big 10
- Maxwell award candidate
- Rated top 20 QB by every publication
- Most accurate passer in MSU history

What to Expect in ’06:
Stanton is talented enough to put up big numbers, he just needs a defense to help him win games. If he can maintain his current level of stats, expect another big year and for him to be a sure fire first round pick. Much in the mold of Cutler, he's a gamer that just ended up on a bad team. He does provide a spark to the Spartan offense though, and his talent will be enough to win some games that MSU would otherwise lose.
Projection: 240-360 passing (66%), 3050 yards, 23 TDs, 10 INTs, 200 Yards Rushing
