The star spangled banner is just a bad song - that it had to be mostly sung in falsetto wasn't good. Also, Franklin > Neville.

The doctor seuss skit was good - I enjoyed that.

I had the set on the NFL Network and forgot to turn the channel before the kick0off. :weary:

... would have been better with some temps & tops action.

I'm a fan of the stones, but that wasn't too good (so far). And they have nothing to do with Detroit.

A perfect match for an ugly game. And by ugly, I mean refs changing the game, and not calling the game.

The last thing I needed to see was Mick Jagger's 63yo arm wobbling and belly hanging out of his tight pants.

I'm not a fan of country music or Motown really, but I agree with Michael Wilbon's assesment that if there are 2 places in the US that you shouldn't be importing musical talent for events it's Detroit and Nashville.

Agreed. I figured that the logical (if not overused) choice would have been Kid Rock or something.

I still blame Janet Jackson. :damnyou:

Should've been KISS. They would've destroyed the place.

C'mon, Detroit Rock City? That would've been ridiculous. I bet they wouldn't even had to've paid people to jump arounf and act like they enjoyed the music.

Thanks Janet.
