Who is he:
Pat White exploded as a freshman last year for Rich Rodriguez's Mountaineers team. He's the definition of a dual-threat QB in college football and plays in an offensive scheme that allows him to spread the balls around and use his speed on the peremeter. He needs to improve his passing skills to really take the next step as a QB, but his athleticism alone should be enough to get WVU back into the BCS. Another year under Rich Rodriguez, whom I think is one of the top 5 offensive minds in college football, and White should post some monster stats and possibly be in contention for the Heisman.

What to Expect in ’06:
White is learning from one of the best in the nation and Rodriguez knows how to use a running QB from his time with Woody Dantzler. If White can just keep his interceptions down, this should be a big-time year for the WVU signal caller. I also expect big numbers rushing the ball on option plays with stud-sophmore and future 40 Players in 40 Days player, Steve Slaton. It's doubtful White can keep his YPC at 7.3, but the field will be wide open for him to make big plays.
Projection: 100-170 passing (59%) for 1300 Yards. 14 TDs, 7 INTs
140 carries for 950 Yards and 8 TDs
