I usually don't bother with places like this, but one day I had an epiphany. I was sitting in my tighty whities on the couch watching this great hentai video of Leia chained to Jabba (his tail wiggles up into her....well, you get the idea). I accientially hit the remote control button and WOOSH! the TV turned to MTV and spring break. All these dumb girls were dancing around in bikinis; it was disgusting. But I didn't want to get up. So I concentrated as hard as possible and suddenly the TV went back to hentai Leia! What else could it be but the force?

Since then I've experimented with other force powers. Oh I can't jump around llike Jedis or anything like that - I'm not deluded! haha! But I've read people can bend spoons with their minds. Maybe this is just the force and they call it something else? Thoughts??!?

PS - I can now call my cat using force telepathy. All I do is concentrate and wave my arms and she comes without fail.

I was wondering have any of you actually been around someone then feeling arises, it could be strong or weak. But you feel it from people, it could just be me, but I have had quite a few strange feelings every once and awhile and I've tried to to ignore them because I wish to study it more.

First: NEVER ignore your feelings. The Jedi learn through our feelings. It is through these feelings that the Force talks to us. Ignoring them only does to slow down one's progressin the Force, and on the Jedi Path.

Anyway, as for sensing the Force in other people...do you mean just feeling it, or feeling their potential to learn/grow in their metaphysical skill?

As for sensing their potential for metaphysical growth, that is an entirely different barrel of fish. That skill is only of a select few, as far as I have been able to tell. It is a skill I can use, but it is one I had to work a long time at. It takes a bit of futuresight to be able to see how powerful a person can get.

Well I already said the first time I discovered The Force in my introduction post. But I guess when I was 14 or 15 I was going through "changes." Most of the other kids had already been through things like this and I felt sort of left out. But you know what they say about the ugly duckling! And what about the flower that blooms last?!?!

So around that time I began talking to animals. I'm not sure if that's The Force, but SKywalker talks to R2-D2 and he's almost an animal. My mother's parquet told me to feel the energy around me and use the force to get it a cracker. I began to feel it. I really did. It was all over the place, in my body, outside, at school, especially around the more "mature" girls in gym class. Strong were they in the force.

Jedi Weight Loss anyone?

I guess I will start this off. Through high school I was never really overweight though I was on the upper end of a healthy weight. Once I entered college and moved off on my own my weight began to steadily increase due mainly to eating habbits and a decrease in activity. In high school, my senior year I was 196lbs which was on the upper end of my healthy weight. As of today, 8 years later I weigh 260lbs.

I've never seen a skiny day in my life. I have always held weight issues. That is not to say I am just Jabba the Hutt , but I am no stick figure. I have been losing weight pretty steadily now for a while. I started by taking TrimSPA, but don't take it as much anymore. It seems I just needed it to jumpstart the weight loss. I am continuing to lose weight, as I hold very strong to the ideal that I want to meet my proposed Jedi Fitness Recommendations. I weight just a hair over 300 lbs, but part of that [a large part of it] is that through various forms of training throughout my life, mainly my martial arts training, my bone structure has drastically grown in density. There is a little biokinesis throw in there, also. :wink:

I have had some weight issues throughout my days. I was very skinny when I was a novice Jedi, but then the minions of the dark force would pester me so I began force training HARD.

First I taught myself a form of Tae Kwon Do using a Tae Bo tape my aunt bought at a garage sale. But this is not all! No, I fused my martial arts training with Force focus - a metaphysical energy that made my body indestructible with Tae Bo fitness!!

My 12 year old niece, who plays soccer, can hit me as hard as she can 3 times in my stomach and I won't cry. Truly, I am on the path of Mastery. Within a year or less I am confident I will withstand a direct chop to the face. I will also slim down to 290 pounds.

Through dedicated training you too can be a mean, lean, Force fighting machine!

You see, having the groom and groom walk under an arc of lightsabers is fine. But if everyone had hot pink lightsabers, that'd be cheesy.

I apologize for some of you that may have come in earlier today. We had a lot of people register and really act inappropriately. The nice guy that I tend to be gave them all more chances than I should have and tried to clean things up but I went ahead and removed just about all questionable or inappropriate content and banned the members. One member and I talked and he said he would keep things clean and on topic which is cool with me. From now on I won't hesitate in doing what needs to be done so thank for bearing with me on this. I don't know what I did to deserve banishment, but whatever it is, I humbly apologize. Someone in my yahoo Jedi group (One Jedied Monster) mentioned the link in somethingawful.com, and myself, OJM, and Rusty Healms decided to go check it out. We were excited and thought we had found a new home, but when I went to log in today, I saw that I was banned. Maybe you thought I wasn't being serious yesterday, but I assure you I am a devout Jedi, and I want to be in the company of other serious Jedis.

1. Make a bullshit yahoo email for these things. I use jvirne@yahoo.com or even make up one just for the occasion. It take 2 minutes to register for one.

It's not something that happens often. Actually, it's pretty rare that one goes well. I think the Curly Board and the Dale Earnhardt petition were the only ones that could be considered a success. The Curlies actually got a kick out of it and started posting with us, and the people signing Earhardt's petition got REAL pissed at us. I wasn't around for the fast food or the Star Wars jihads, though. I heard those went well too.

Actually, the Jedis were our (FAI's) first attempt at a jihad. Most of us originally hail from a board called The Geek Club at FFToday.com, which, back in the day, was rife with hilarity. Now the place is a festering pile of suck, and almost all of the good posters have moved on. Some of us got together and created this place.

I think that pretty much catches you up. :D
