1. I thought Riley was dumb for making the roster moves he made last year.

2. I thought he was dumb for forcing Van Gundy out and not doing anything he could possibly do to keep him around.

3. I thought they were too old. There were too many "me first" type players.

4. I thought that the Pistons were CLEARLY a better team.

5. I didn't think Riley was anywhere near the coach that he thought he was.

6. I didn't think that Shaq was good enough for them to win it all.

7. I thought that Wade was THAT good because Shaq made him that good...

I was dead wrong. Riley is a baxketball genius, and I know nothing about the game.

I think you were right about 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7. A lot of it can be chalked up to bad officiating and terrible defense from the Mavs guards in the last couple of games. This may be a homer thing to say, but the Bulls gave the Heat the best series in the playoffs. I'm not saying, I'm just saying....
