That's right, it's time for the annual mocking of grandpahoo's fantasy football draft. Quick recap: 12 team league, TE required, retention league. You can keep as many players as you want, but each year their price goes up by three rounds (e.g., one guy drafted LaMont Jordan in the 10th round two years ago; last year he kept him for a 7th, this year he kept him for a 4th). Lots of rbs were retained (including Larry Johnson for 4.5), so things got goofy pretty early.
1.7 Edgerrin James
2.6 Terrell Owens
3.7 Corey Dillon
4.6 Anquan Boldin (retained)
5.7 Cedric Benson
6.6 Lawrence Maroney (early, but rbs with retention possibilities go early)
7.7 Deion Branch
8.6 Trent Green
9.7 Marc Bulger (retained)
10.6 Kellen Winslow
11.7 Jerry Porter
12.6 Vince Young
13.7 Chicago defense
14.6 Mike Vanderjagt
15.7 Musa Smith
16.6 Ron Dayne
Rip away. :hyper:

Too high for Ron Dayne.
A little combustable in spots (TO, Branch, maybe Edge and Winslow), but other than than that, a very solid team. You draft with stupid people?

Ok, since my last draft garnered so much interest, I thought I'd let you guys check out my law school draft, which was much crappier. 12 teams, all tds are six points.
1.7 S Jax
2.6 Fitzgerald (Chad Johnson went the pick before; Holt was available, but I panicked about having two Rams. :screams: )
3.7 Chester Taylor (Jamal Lewis went the pick before; it was either Taylor or Julius Jones)
4.6 Carson Palmer (my best value in the draft, I think)
5.7 Javon Walker
6.6 Fred Taylor
7.7 Andre Johnson
8.6 Lee Evans
9.7 Drew Bennett
10.6 Kellen Winslow (13th TE taken)
11.7 Phillip Rivers (at least I don't have any question marks at qb :screams: )
12.6 Vernand Morency
13.7 & 14.6 - had to submit a list, not sure who I got

Yes, I'd have taken Holt over Fitz. I'm not sure you got much value with the  picks, but the later picks were very nice IMO.
Also, for me SJax > Edge. I actually think I like this team better, especially if TO doesn't keep coach Bill happy. Good enough everywhere but at RB#3.

Agreed on Holt over Fitz. I regretted it immediately. The Fred Taylor thing would have worked out if Greg Jones hadn't been taken the pick before my 8.6. That kind of sucked. Also, I agree on S Jax over Edge. S Jax went the pick before me in my first draft - LJ being retained with 4.2 pushed all the top rbs up a spot.
ALSO!@# I'm pretty sure you kind of complimented my draft. :hyper:
