10. Colorado St @ Colorado
Is Colorado that bad? I don't think so, but they still have their work cut out for them to win this game.
CSU: 31
Colorado: 21
9. Arizona @ LSU
Mike Stoops takes his defense to LSU. It should be an LSU win, but AZ is improved and might make it interesting.
AZ: 14
LSU: 37
8. VT @ UNC
VT looked sloppy even though they romped in their opening weekend. UNC looked bad and Bunting's seat is pretty hot already, it might be scorching after an 0-2 start.
VT: 31
UNC: 10
7. Minn @ Cal
Can Cal rebound and get on track before their Pac 10 schedule begins? I think they roll Minny.
MIN: 17
Cal: 48
6. Washington @ Oklahoma
I don't think Paul Anderson can play QB and Wash will stack the line against Peterson. This game will be closer than it should be.
Washington: 17
OU: 21
5. Oregon @ Fresno St
Oregon has a very good team this year, but Fresno St is a team with the potential to be a giant killer. I think they have a shot at the upset here especially if Jonathan Stewart can't play.
Oregon: 24
Fresno St: 33
4. Clemson @ Boston College
This is a huge game for Clemson -- they need to see how they can deal with the loss of Tremaine Billie and Anthony Waters. I think there will be a heavy dose of James Davis and a closer tigers win.
Clemson: 28
BC: 24
3. UGA @ South Carolina
SoCar's offense won't be able to move the ball on UGA, period. SoCar's OLine is terrible and UGA's dl might be the best in the nation. Expect a low scoring defensive battle.
UGA: 14
SC: 9
2. PSU @ ND
I think PSU is going to get rolled in this game. They didn't impress me much in their opener and I don't like their offense with Morelli as much as I liked the multi-dimensional QB Michael Robinson. If ND can stop Derrick Williams, it'll be over early -- even though the rankings don't bear out, I think GT is better than PSU and this is the home opener.
PSU: 17
ND: 41
1. OSU @ Texas
Obviously the best game of the week in the #1 vs #2 matchup. Texas doesn't have the name power, but I think they are the better team. Add that to the fact they're at home and I don't think Troy and Teddy can win the game. OSU's defense was weak last weekend and I expect McCoy and co. can throw up some points.
OSU: 24
Texas: 35
