I've started to notice that I can have a half bottle of liqour at night with no ill-effect the next day. But, if I have 2-3 pints of beer (usually Fullers or Guinness, sometimes Stella), I feel grogy the next day.

WTF?

it's sad to get old. A Guinness at kickoff, a 3-shot pina colada during the first half, and another Guinness for the 2nd half, and I was starting to doze away. Not the way it used to be.

Yeah, I miss the good old days when I used to put away pina coladas like nobody's business. Sometimes I'd mix it up with a daquiri or some Very Berry Wine Coolers.

Also, beer gives me a massive hangover these days. I'm drinking bourbon almost exclusively. :sadbanana:

I don't really drink during the week anymore, and when I drink on weekends now I mix water and food religiously to avoid the hangover. I never had to do that before.

SDJones puts enough alcohol and drugs in his fat frame to kill an elephant. Give him a try.

truer words could not be spoken.

Sadness is the ease at which a hangover occurs in the late 20's and on...

Also, when you wake up to find one of your buddies pissing on the floor right next to the couch you are sleeping on, its time to have a talk with him.
