Clemson and Ole Miss are pretty high up :headscratch:

well, it takes into account quantity and quality at this point... VT, UVA, and Ole Miss as well as Clemson to a lesser degree will all drop when it's done. The most accurate indicator at this point is the average star ranking. The ranking by average stars on this list would be:

9 Southern Cal 9 2 5 2 4.00 1,150
10 Notre Dame 9 2 5 2 4.00 1,135
1 Texas 23 4 13 6 3.91 2,745
2 Georgia 18 0 12 6 3.67 1,731
3 Florida 16 1 8 5 3.50 1,487
6 Clemson 15 1 5 9 3.47 1,295
7 Alabama 15 0 7 8 3.47 1,216
4 Ole Miss 18 0 7 10 3.33 1,349
5 Virginia 20 0 6 12 3.20 1,324
8 Virginia Tech 25 1 2 15 2.88 1,215

I can pretty much guarentee Texas will end up #1. I'm thinking when all is said and done, Clemson will end up around #12 while teams like FSU, UM, Auburn, LSU, and Ohio State jump up into the top 10.

When Ole Miss hired Ed Orgeron one of the reasons was supposedly because he was a good recruiter.

Not only is it far too early to even begin to consider who has the best class, these recruit rankings will change a good three times before February. Somebody whoh is 5 * now could be a 4* later and vice versa, so it's very inaccurate at this stage.

I think USC's class will be around 20 players, small but highly ranked.
