I'm actually going to make an attempt to pay attention this year....I can't deal with the figure skating, but the speed skating and skiing/boarding looks good.

Also, also...this is best American team evah assembled:rolleyes:

Bryant Gumbel was going off on the WO last night. "Nothing's a sport that has a 'kiss and cry' area," or something to that effect.

After the performance, the skater sits with his or her coach and perhaps a family member, waiting for the scores. Where they sit is called the "kiss and cry" area for obvious reasons.

Bryant Gumbel is a fuckhead.

I gotta say, Gumbel is pretty excellent on Real Sports. His inexplicable note taking at the end of each segment is just hysterical.
