Yeah, sigs get boring after awhile. But as long as they're non-graphical I don't think they prove to be much of a distraction. But, if everyone wants 'em gone, they're gone. I'll start with mine...

Nice layout for the forums so far. If traffic picks up, who knows if you'll need more boards or something (to split up the FF and NFL type of news...) but it's all good for now.

My sentiments exactly.

We could always increase traffic by inviting over certain posters who post a lot, with very little substance. But that's the easy way out. Plus, it would pretty much piss off everyone currently here.

Right now, it seems as if the mooks are just sitting back and waiting for us to entertain them rather than posting their own topics, which is not what this place is intended for. We'll entertain the mooks with our front page (or at least try to). In the interim, the board is for our favorite posters to come and converse, with us chipping in here and there.

I'm just kinda kicking back and seeing how things develop, because continually trying to come up with interesting stuff to post about smacks of desperation. You can't force the hilarity, it's a group effort.

It seems to me (to this point) that this is the weekest part of FAI, that the main people that would contribute are used to spending most of their time at HW, TDZ, Sanctuary, etc.

As far as the "main people who would contribute", well.....I guess we need to get some new contributors, eh?

People should not be content to ride the coattails of others, they should become contributors themselves. If the people we know (as of now) to be the backbone of certain message boards decide not to participate in the growth of this one, then so be it. Other "contributors" shall emerge and the board will flourish accordingly.

The question is this: will FAI end up being the next old-school FFT or will it end up being the next post-FFT DanZone?
