Two weeks left after tonight's game ends.
Mongo & AUJosh are in.
Orgazmo is just about in. I'm pretty sure he's actually in if Freddie and MJD get enough in the 2nd half so that g'hoo loses.
Everyone else is just sort of mediocre or so.

Danzone's victory puts O in the playoffs for sure. O could still be a wildcard team, but worst case he's still in there.
The other five teams all have losing records with four at 5-6 and me at 4-7. The winners of the Ted-ToFro (wk12) and Wilz-G'Hoo (wk13) games are the best bets for the other two, a certainty if they win their other games. One more loss for me and I'll be unable to try to defend my title.
North-South
Mongo and AUJosh are both in there. Not sure yet which will be the division champ (and get the bye) and which'll be the wildcard. Mongo wins the bye if he wins the upcoming h2h matchup (wk13), if AUJosh wins it then it depends what happens the other week.
Rodney and Danzone are tied atop the other division at 5-6 and V4E is only one game back. One loss and V4E is out. The winner of the suburban Detroit matchup (wk13) is at an advantage.

Ohhh kay, I was wondering why Colston got injured. It was because you wrote this. Thanks sooooo much.

By my count, I need to win the last 2 weeks, and have TDZ beat rurbaniak next week to have a shot at winning the division.
If that happens and rurbaniak loses this week, I'm in (rurbaniak 5-8, TDZ 6-7, me 6-7, even in head to head, I've got the total points tiebreak clinched, up by 150).
If that happens and rurbaniak wins this week, it'll be between me and him for the total points tie breaker, which he has by 10 points right now.

Wow! There are only 3 teams above .500 in a 12 team league. That is what I call parody.

If I win this week, won't the bye week essentially be mine?
Assume we both win, I'll be 1 game up with 1 week to go. If he beats me, we'll be tied at 10-3 and go to tiebreakers. The series will be split, so then it goes to total points, right? At this point I'm up almost 200 points, so it seems unlikely Josh can catch me.

Assume we both win, ...
Sure, but that assumption hasn't happened yet. Even if it does, you can't claim to have clinched the bye.
If you win and he loses this week, then you get the bye. Otherwise, he's still got a chance for the bye (although it may be quite slim).

East-West
1) Orgazmo 7-5 West (torrid) clinched playoffs, not division or bye
2) Grandpahoo 6-6 East (wilz)
3) Torrid Joe 6-6 West (org)
4) Wilzone 5-7 East (ghoo)
5) Gratefulted 5-7 West (bernie)
6) Whoisjgalt 4-8 East (v4e)
If Wilzone beats G'hoo this week, they'll tie for the East division title. That would also make them 1-1 in h2h, so the 2nd tiebreaker (Dan, what is it?) would come into play. Or they could both get in if O beats Torrid (which assures O the bye). Ted could also get into the ties for the WC too (if O beats Torrid).
North-South
1) Mongo 10-2 South (josh) clinched division and bye
2) Rurbaniak 6-6 North (dan)
3) AUJosh 8-4 South (mongo) clinched wildcard
4) Danzone 5-7 North (rodney)
5) Vikes4ever 5-7 North (jgalt)
6) Bernie 5-7 South (g'ted)
Rodney and Danzone play this week. Rodney gets in with a win. If Danzone wins, it could be a two-way or even a three-way tie for the division title. Dan, what are the tiebreakers in that case? Perhaps we can get the rules listed here at FAI.

Starting with Head to Head, I am 1-1 vs 4 Norseman, and 1-0 vs DanZone.
According to RTS, Tie Breaking Scheme:
1. Head-To-Head Competition
2. Total Points Scored
And that would essentially eliminate Danzone, because he's too far behind in Total Points.
That means if I lose, and 4 Norseman wins, then it will be a matter of who scores the most this week.
Currently I have 1117.38 pts, and 4 norse 1121.18
Unless the rules are different that what's stated on RTS. :dunno:

Torrid wins the division with a victory, it appears, based on his game in hand against Orgazmo. Even with a loss, if I understand things correctly, the Winkies would be the WC team. They have head to head victories against both contenders for the East title, and since the loser of that game will have at least 7 wins, the head to head tiebreaker would be decisive. Ted also can finish with no fewer than 7 losses, and is 1-1 against the Winkies, but 200 points behind. I can't come up with a scenario where the Winkies are not the #3 seed from the East/West if they lose.
Math check, anyone?

O is in, 2 spots available.
I'll take your word for it that you have the tiebreaker against Wilzone and GHoo. We know you're in if you win, so lets assume you lose.
O would be 8-6
GHoo is either 7-6 or 6-7
You're 6-7
Wilzone is 6-7 or 5-8
If you got the tiebreakers, it looks to me like you're right and in no matter what happens this weekend.
It looks like there's 1 remaining playoff spot and it's going to the winner of the Wilzone/Ghoo game.

If O beats you and Ted beats Bernie, then you're in a tie with Ted. It could be a three-way with a team from the East, but it might not.
I :dunno: how we handle 3-ways. I do know that Ted is 1-1 against you so it goes to the 2nd tiebreaker. You're way ahead in points scored, but you haven't clinched that tiebreaker.
So, it looks good for Torrid but I don't believe that you've clinched anything yet.

I never said I clinched anything, I said I can't see a scenario where it happens. In any 3-way I have 2 wins, Ted can have no more than 2 wins, I have no losses to the other two eligible teams, and I'm ahead by 200 or so on the relevant tiebreaker to Ted.

I posted this on October 11th. That is just fantastic. :hyper:
Other interesting notes:
1. I have the third most points in the league. I seriously don't see how that's possible.
2. Once again I'm leading the league in points against. Somehow, every year I get tons of points scored against me in this league, and barely any points scored against me in IMABOOBIE.
3. None of the above really matter, as we all know I'm going 6-7 and missing the playoffs.

Thank GOD I don't have to face Tomlinson. That seems illogical, since you just beat him, but it's utterly painful to watch Tomlinson play against you. Even if you win, it's too draining.

You're going down, though. My guys are way too motivated to win one in Tiki's final fantasy game. I'm personally hiring someone to put a shiv into Reggie Bush so Deuce gets all the carries, and the Redskins D will force 114 turnovers next weekend.

Looking good, unless Romo bombs and the Iggles kick FGs instead of getting Westbrook TDs. A couple Coles TDs on the other side and I'm the one drinking the milk and doing the donuts...but yeah, looks dicey for me.
