What would you like to see us cover?
Overall dynasty rankings are a no-brainer.
Rookie rankings for rookie drafts are another obvious choice.
What other types of things would you like to see?
Help us help you. Also, thanks for your valuable input!@# :hyper:

Can we have special guest columns from Grandpahoo on how to field a consistently mediocre team?

I think this is a good idea (esp. the pron part).
Some people value Dynasty rookie picks like gold, others love to trade them away for proven players. I would like to see (if I have time maybe i'll even do it) some analysis of the top 5-10 guys taken (on average of course) over the past 5 or so years and how they panned out. I'm sure i'll think of more.

Rookie Rankings based on impact, rank the top rookies for this year, top rookies for 2+ years.

Also, a bit of a takeoff from OB1's suggestion... value pick = equivalent player.
To acquire pick, the following player is perceived as equal:
Pick 1 = Lamont Jordan
Pick 2 = Corey Dillon
Pick 3 = Randy Moss
etc... Just examples. Just to give an idea of what it'll take to acquire the pick. Is the pick overvalued at that state, undervalued, or worth the trade if you like the player at that pick.

I would love to see an article on "youth premium" and how that pans out. In other words, compare trades from actual dynasty leagues 4-5 years ago that involved older for younger players, and whether those players were truly worth the value that they got in the trade.

i would LOVE to see information that details the track record of certain personnel directors and the percentage of hits and misses they have when frafting defensive players in aorunfs 4-7 of the nfl fraft and their comparative impact when juxtaposed with others of their peer group from prior generations. tia!
You don't have to be right on Dynasty info, no FF'baller checks history...just be specific so that the newbs feel good. Tell tham that LenDale White will rush for 1200+ and get 12 TDs, just make shit up, but be specific so that it look like you thought about it.

"LenDale White's running style fits in perfectly with [team]'s offensive gameplan and blocking schemes and should be an instant hit. Not to mention that [team] plays in the [division] which has trouble stopping a runner of his particular skillset. We forsee big things for White this season, especially in week [number] when he faces [team], perfect since it happens during most leagues' playoffs."
We'll just fill in the brackets later.

Actually CMT could do a column on draft strategy. Although unorthodox I still have to give him credit for the team he put together in the 4 Board league a few years back. Other than Rattlesnake's draft in LOD, CMT's 4 Board draft was the most mocked and criticized draft that I've ever seen to be GOLD when the games were played.

I would like to see in depth offensive line analysis as well as schedule analysis with historical data.
In addition, please provide current contract situations for all players.
 now get to it.
Oh yeah, and plenty of pron.

Same thing happened in IMABOOBIE 2 years ago. I was ridiculed, forgot to turn in a line-up one week, and still finished in the top 4 (IIRC?).
My problem is that I apparently suck at the Dynasty component of Dynasty leagues. I frequently over-value youth and havea short attention span. :wigglypea:

I keeping readers updated on possible impact rookies while they are still in college would be pretty good. Maybe like a "Future Star" article each week.
