Sure. Lay down some rules, etc, and I'll shoot out a mass e-mailage to everyone inviting them to join.

WHOOOOOOAAAHHHH!!!!! :shock:
Hold on a sec. I dont want to be in charge of it or anything, I was just wondering if this might happen for the upcoming season. :unsure: You know, since last year it was proposed about 2 weeks before the season started and stuff.
Basicly what I am saying is, I dont have a crapload of time, but if FAI decides to start some kind of FF league (mods vs Mooks or whatever) count me in. :yes:

Sorry for bringing it up.
That's alright, I just don't have time to do it myself right now either, look for volunteers. :yes:

Is Steebo a mod or a mook? If he's a mod, we could manage an eight team league (Rurb, JGalt, Orgaz, Steeb). Otherwise, it'll more likely be six max.

Standard PPR scoring:
Pass TD = 4pts
Rush/Catch TD = 6pts
1 yard pass = 0.05pts
1 yard rush/catch = 0.1pts
1 catch = 1pt
XP = 1pt
FG = 3pts
TwoPt Conv pass = 1.33pts
TwoPt Conv rush/catch = 2pts
Sacks = 1pt
Interception = 2pts
Fumble recovery = 2pts
Safety = 4pts
Return/Defensive TD = 6pts
Shutout = 6pts
1-9pts allowed = 2pts
Blocked kick = 3pts (FG, XP, Punt)
Starting Lineups:
2 QBs
3 RBs
4 WRs
2 TEs
2 Ks
2 DTs
(eight teams, so lots more startable guys to go around)
Fraft and various other stuff:
> Roster limit of 30
> 30-round draft (240 players) in TBD month
> Run it at AOL by FanBall
> Waivers run weekly but with a limit on the number of waiver moves per season (five?)
> The Mods will be able to choose their own Mod draft positions however they see fit (who goes 1st-4th from their group)
> The Mooks will be able to choose their own Mod draft positions however they see fit (who goes 1st-4th from their group)
> After that's been determined, the one Mod and one Mook will use the Irony Dice site to roll for which side gets positions 1,4,5,8 and which side gets positions 2,3,6,7 (the higher roll of one 1,000 sided die will get the 1,4,5,8 set)
> Serpentine Draft, of course
Schedules & Pseudo-Playoffs:
Each week for the first 14 you play a double header
Each Mook plays two Mods
Each Mod plays two Mooks
Each game counts as a point (28 max through 14 weeks, 1pt for wins & ˝pt for ties)
Week 15: The top two Mods play the bottom two Mooks and vice versa, these games count double (top/bottom based on game points through the first 14 weeks)
Week 16: The top two Mods play the top two Mooks and likewise for the bottom pairs, these games count triple (top/bottom based on game points through the first 14 weeks)
... something about what the Mooks get if they collectively win ...
... something about what the Mods get if they collectively win ...

Both have live scoring? :headscratch:

Open questions:
1) when to fraft?
2) waiver limits or no - if yes then how many?
3) the stakes?
Yes, AOL by FanBall has decent live scoring. It's not MFL/RTS good, but it's free.

I can't limit the number per season at AOL. I can limit the number per week (which I set at 2). We could do a limit by hand, or just skip it. I'm guessing skip it will be the best way.
Shall we limit it to one per week or two?
Also, the Mods/Founders all have league invites.

1) Soon. A slow draft over a few weeks would be great.
2) Since we're having a 15 player bench, lets say "no weekly waivers" and do something like a "mini waiver draft" at weeks 5 and 10, all based on your records of course.
3) It's spelled, "Steaks". HTH!

One round for each of those two weeks, or two? And since it's a fraft there's no need for a cut, right, the roster size just expands by the number of rounds?

Either draft and drop afterwards, or expand is fine with me. I was think 5 rounds total for each mini draft. Let's save some players for the second go around..

Five. Wow. I was thinking one, but two (or three maybe) would be alright. Forty extra players in week five wouldn't leave anything much for week ten besides a few guys who get starting gigs via injury.
We do one in Requiem (12 players/360 rostered to start the season) and Imaboobie (16 players/384 rostered to start the season). In each case, we do three rather than two waiver drafts. So maybe three rounds (24 players/240 rostered to start the season) wouldn't be horrible. I'd prolly vote for two if we were voting. It's redraft rather than dynasty for those two, so part of the extra bench in those other leagues isn't so necessary here.

Yea, I guess you are right, we already draft a lot. I think 2 would be good. :yes:

It ain't a dynasty, so why segregate the rookies? :weary:
