I don't have one, and really don't see a need for one. I am clueless, or are the rest of you? :dunno:

I don't own an iPod yet. If I was a runner or commuted by train, I'd probably get one. Otherwise, I don't see the need yet.:|

I thought I didn't need one until I got mine.

I use it for working out, riding the train, in my car, on airplanes, and at work. That's probably 3/4 of my life.

What makes you think you need it now?
I use it for working out

Agreed, my commute is 8 minutes (of me driving), I don't use it when I work out, etc.
But it is like crack. I cannot get on a plane without it...I frequently lay in bed and fall asleep listening to it. It's inexplicable, but it is essential now.

Same way I feel about satellite radio.

My commute is 45 min. each way. I hate terrestrial radio and lugging CDs in and out of the car sucks.
It allows me to have access to a shitload of music in one place.
The shuffle feature lets me listen to songs I had forgotten about or haven't heard before.
A lot easier to port around than a CD player.
There may be one more.

Is there an extra monthly fee for the music feature, or does it just make the phone cost more?

I think you're confusing "iPod" with "cell phone".

I love mine. I just got it for Christmas, mainly for the gym. I love having it at the gym, the size is perfect and it's really easy to use with iTunes. My car also has an AUX hook-up for my iPod which I control through the NAV system.
also also...great when traveling and chilling by the pool (resorts).
also also also....Jonesy has pron on his :wigglypea:

 the gym
 the public transportation commute
 the wanting people to not bother you at work
 the I want to play the music really really really loud right now and this way the neighbors won't have to know
 the tons (500+) of songs all in one place without have to swap compact disks
 the not having to bother with batteries (like you do with a portable compact disk player)
 the other reasons I can't think of right now
Don't you have to have like 9 googillion songs on mp3 just to make it worth owning one?

gym - Bores the shit out of me, Ipod or no ipod
Public transport - Doesn't work for me, I don't work downtown.
No bother at work - I have a hard time beleiveing this would stop them from bugging my ass.
real loud - I suppose. But the headphones already allow that.
tons of songs - my laptop takes care of that without the need for an Ipod
no batteries - see above
Other reason - :dunno:
I guess if I spent more time in the gym or in public transportation, I could see it, but I don't.
Also, you are limited to 10 images edit :screams:

I buy them off iTunes and make any kind of list I want. It's not a necessity, but it's so easy to use and convenient that I'm pissed when I don't have mine.

convert from compact disk using the iTunes software
(which is different from spending money to buy songs off iTunes)

Same way I feel about satellite radio.
Same here. I use my MyFi like an IPod or MP3 player when I'm inside. I'll record a bunch of new stuff every night so when I'm at the gym or inside work I can listen to all that stuff and when I'm not inside, I can still get the live programming while walking around, in the car, at home, etc..
