Top 5 underrated albums.
I totally did not steal this idea from anyone here!!@# :screams:
5. Pink Foyd - The Final Cut. I liked this album, which deals with warfare, past and present, better than The Wall. Best song: The Gunner's Dream. Roger Waters' best work, IMO.
4. Queensyche - Operation Mindcrime. Queensryche got a lot of understandable recognition for their Empire album, but before that was this metal masterpiece, which tells an intriguing political story throughout.
3. Dire Straits - Making Movies. Those who think Dire Straits begins and ends with Brothers in Arms are saaaaadly mistaken.
2. Green Day - Nimrod. Gets lost in the shuffle, but it's absolutely great cover-to-cover.
1. Def Leppard - High n' Dry. Def Leppard's best album, before they started playing around with kayboards and crap. Came out in 1981 (ish) and the guitars still sound fresh. Also, lotsa cowbells, which is nice. Note: I am referring to the original release of this album, not the re-release which had "Me and My Wine" on it. For some reason, on the re-release, they chose to tamper with one of their best songs, Bringin' on the Heartbreak, by adding keyboard to it. A travesty, IMO. After listening to thie album, it's almost impossible to believe the same band wrote "Pour Some Sugar On Me".
