I think he got our league website message board mixed up with this one.
I'm getting my feet wet in dynasty leagues, and I thought I would speak to some logic from my perspective of why I was interested in making the first of probably a few deals before next season begins. I know in other leagues I've played in backing your trades up with what you were thinking has been good protocol.
First, I view this as a trade with risk, but high upside potential for me. I gave up a proven back (one held in high regard by most fantasy owners, including this one) for two young players with high upside. I hold Lee Evans as having little value, and really don't view him significantly from my perspective in this deal. Bell is in a really good system, and will likely be handed the reigns next year, as Anderson is past his prime. Edwards was the key to the deal for me. I view him as a top 5 receiver in the NFL within the next couple of years.
Time will tell who got the better end of this deal. As for now, it moves me in direction I want to go.
