Michigan comes in at #1, averaging just under 111k. Tenn, Ohio St, and Penn St being the other 3 with over 100k averages.

What do you call the Golf Course? :screams:

Oh yea, that's organized tailgating. Nevermind.

There is no way that Baylor has more than 38,000 fans any given Saturday. Must be counting sold tickets and not rears in the stands.

Also, these stats show nothing other than who has the biggest stadium. Frankly, if Michigan, PSU, Notre Dame or Tennessee had 150,000 seats, they'd get 150,000 fans.

Look no further than the UDub being 23rd in attendance as proof. :|

Why are you even tossing Noter Dame into this discussion? :dunno: They barely average 80K. Thats just 5K more than Michigan St...who, by the way, beat Noter Dame this past year.

They barely average 80K because that's all their stadium holds.

Also, my statement referenced teams that I think would consistently pull in 150K if they had a stadium that held that many. I believe the only teams who would consistently do that are ND, Penn State, Michigan and Tennessee. I probably could have included Ohio State, but I wonder about the others in the top 20.

And before you argue Florida, Georgia or LSU, remember that my statement is "consistently".

150K? Everyone knows Noter Dame could pull in more than 3/4 of a million if they could hold it. Build it and they will come.
