Or, doesn't EMoney have his list?

I have let HC know that he is up and he said he should have a 30 minute break in between meetings and he will post then, if not he will email me his selection, he said he needed to look at some things.

7:01 - Keegan Herring, RB, ASU
Damn you Steebo!! I wanted Herring with my next pick. I think you should get Michael Jones younger sister Monica and be stuck with her as your pick since you were the first to (as usual) screw up. Now you friggin screwed up MY draft, too.
(note: I guess this is my way of saying nice pick you 'Bama hoser you!)
Steebo

I wish I was as excited about the pick as you are. :D
I guess its because I thought I had Jones, then had to settle for Herring.

And of course I'd have gotten Herring about a round later... oh well, I honestly think he'll carry most of the load for ASU

You knew I had to get a Seminole on the team.
He'll miss the first few games (and some crap-ass opponents, so a waste of a chance to rack up some phat numbers), but he should be the go-to guy when he gets back.
Was looking at Parker with my next round of picks, but after taking Julio Jones felt like I needed a solid starter, so went with Cosby. Parker, like Childs, could end up paying off big-time.

Dave. You are underestimating the North Marion Colts alum! I think Carr is gonna have a good year so he can get drafted. I think the Noles are actually going to have a pretty good season this year. I think with some of the new players at FSU, maybe it will free Carr up a bit more. We'll see.
Kadaver
08-08-2008, 03:47 AM
Carr needs to learn how to work hard first.
Then the Seminoles have to pass protect better.
Then the FSU coaches have to give the QB the green light to throw the fade and the fly patterns, since that's all Carr can run.
Did I mention that FSU needs a QB?

Guess I waited a round too long on Lester.
Justice
08-10-2008, 02:46 PM
I had been looking at him the last few rounds and was kind of surprised he had not been picked yet and could not let him pass anymore.
I had given Lester some consideration, but there was the combination of going to the spread offense, and the almost complete split of workload in the backfield, along with no real goalline touches, that made me shy away from him. Still, with the right circumstances falling, he could pay off nicely.

Dixon is one of my favorite UCONN players. He really stepped up when Brown was hurt/struggled.
Will be pretty shocked if another one gets drafted by anyone else except a total homer.
It would be cool if we could sorta figure out a time to all meet here and get through the backend of this draft. I work on-line from home, so I'm available basically 24/7.

"The quickest remedy might be a return to form from Woods, whose production dropped last season. In 2006, he had 926 yards rushing and 572 receiving on 75 catches. He’s gone from 7.0 yards per carry in limited duty in 2005 to 6.1 per carry in his career year to 5.2 last year.
Woods seems to have regained Tech coach Mike Leach’s confidence.
“He’s worked his (butt) off,” Leach said. “He worked ridiculously hard in the offseason, then had a good spring. My suspicion is he’s going to be pretty good, if I were to guess right now, based on the material of several months.”"
That was from August 6th. Good gamble at this spot, I hope.
