That's the funny part. Much like an older ball player who just simply is no longer very good, you just cut it from the line up.

I really enjoy Spongebob. My 6-y-o son is obsessed...wants to go to Burger King and collect all 20 Spongebobs...draws a picture of Spongebob every day in a different scene. Actually, the drawings are really good.:hyper:
Also, my daughter is dressed up as a ballerina right now watching the "Barbie of Swan Lake" DVD, so I am in the basement.

No lifting, no wifey, and dinner is usually grabbed on the run, so that doesn't take much time either.
I'll catch a Simpson's rerun or two in a given week, 2-3 Family Guy reruns. The rest of the week I have my one or two shows I catch (LOST, etc.) and then Thursday is all out TV BLITZ with The Office, Early and ER!

I don't watch much tv during the week any more. I hate the current sitcoms and reality shows for the most part and my work schedule doesn't let me get into many shows anyway. There are certain shows that I might catch one of as I'm going to bed: Family Guy, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Sportscenter
Otherwise, the only night that I actually watch tv (other than sports) is Sunday night. HBO (depending on what's in season - Sopranos, Deadwood, Rome, Entourage, Carnivale) or maybe the Fox shows if they're new (Simpsons, Family Guy). I also record Smallville on Thursdays if it's new and watch that in my free time.

Home by 7:30. No workout. Kids go to bed at 8:00 or 9:00 depending on school. TV goes on.

and my work schedule doesn't let me get into many shows anyway.
and to unnecessarily explain this, my schedule is kinda like CMT's:
7-10 AM EST: get up, start doing chores/cleaning/errands, have breakfast
10-12: Leave for gym, workout, shower
12-8:30: work
~9:15-9:30 PM: get home from work (If I'm coming home and not going out that night)
~9:30-11 PM: lift/crunches/household stuff
During the last time period, I usually will turn on something sports-related or I might watch a movie or something. I usually catch one of the 11-12 shows on Comedy Central, ESPN or Cartoon Network as I'm getting ready for bed.
what?! you people think you're better than us!?? cause we watch a bunch of tv!? :finger: fuck you!@ we're the ones who are better!@#@!# :hmpf

Those are the only tv series I make any effort to watch, much less catch regularly. My wife watches Grey's Anatomy, so I tried to watch an episode once, and I think any guy who feels the need to watch it regularly is at least half a fag.
I think I'd like Lost and 24, but the set up of those shows is way more of a committment than I'm willing to give to tv.
I've been in London a lot lately for businesss and because of the time it was on, 9-10pm, was when I generally came back from dinner or the pub during the week, I caught their latest version of celebrity Big Brother a few times. Ditkanate would have to quit his job if he lived there b/c, in addition to it being on every night for an hour, they return to it live at midnight every weeknight and for I don't know how long, they keep it running even if the people are just sleeping. For hours, camera shots of sleeping people...all night...with limited commercial interruptions. I woke up in a jet-lagged induced haze one night and the tv was on and I noticed. I couldn't get back to sleep, so I got on my laptop but left the tv on, just to see how long it would go. After about an hour, still on. A camera just focused on Dennis Rodman sleeping. WTF? And then the next morning they apparently have another episoide where the audience talks with a host about the previous night's episode.

There is this cool invention called tivo that allows me to watch all kinds of commercial free shows on my terms, you should look into it, free time falls between 9 and 11 on most nights, that's 3 "hours" of TV. Once a week catches you up.

I guy I work with is always trying to sell me on TIVO. But, I'm not sure I'm really missing anything.

I wouldn't watch half of what I do without a DVR. Watch something at your conveience and in 2/3 the time.
I TIVO the show Hu$tle on AMC, and it just might be the best show on TV. It's a big budget BBC drama about a group of con-men, and I think it is excellent.
Kind of surprised that nobody has mentioned it, though it does air in a tough time slot, Sat 10PM..
