Finally, the wait for real football has ended!!!!

Normally I'd be rooting against Clemson at all costs, but I'm so sick of the manlove for the SEC that I'm actually rooting for a lopsided smackdown in Clemson's favor.

Here's hoping J.D. and C.J. each top 100 yards, if only to shut Mike Mayock's yapper for a day or two.

I dont listen to Mayock, but I am not hoping for a Clemson victory. :no:



Mosy of the guys I've heard interviewed on local radio around here (Ivan Maisel, Kirk Herbstreit, Some beat writer from Clemson whose name I dont remember, ect) say Alabama has a shot to win, but still end up picking Clemson.





ETA: Also, how bad does NC State suck? I dont know much about them, but I cant believe South Carolina is as good as the final score.

Can't say what happened because we had the DNC on TV at the office, so I didn't see a single minute of the game.

But the score was 0-0 with 20 seconds to go in the first half, so South Carolina wasn't looking so hot either for quite a while.

NC State does suck, though.
