Scatter's post says first week in March, do we have a firm date? I will be spending a long weekend in NYC this weekend and don't want to miss the deadline.

Also, I firmly remember that we moved it back a month last year. if it was not supposed to be a permanent change.

I've been campainging for 2 years now to get our cut down date pushed back to early April on a permanent basis. I think we could have a lot better information regarding player movement if we wait until the NFL free agency has had a few weeks to sort itself out.
That being said, Ill be out of town from tomorrow until next Tuesday and wont have internet access. Hopefully I dont miss the cutdown deadline

I have been as scattered as the new CBA negociations for the NFL.
We need to get a new member installed to replace Freeze.
We also have a lot of confusion going on, a lot of that blame lies on me.
I am asking that we agree to a delay on the Waiver wire cut to the last Monday in March - it gives us another 3 weeks or so to figure out what the NFL is doing and for us to solidify the ranks.
If there are strong objections, the deadline is this Monday.

I think we need to find a replacement owner for team Freeze. I guess we should make that a priority. I dont know if Dan has a waiting list or what.
We also need to find Hellothere. I sent him an email through TDZ this morning asking him to check in.

Did we get a confirmation of this and of whether this is the official new home?

Good question, Blitz. Anyone seen or heard from Dan recently? It'd be nice to nail down some of this stuff.
Let's get this thing rolling! :points:

I needed a bit of proding - thanks Scatter.
If Merkin feels comfortable with Monday as the deadline (midnight East Coast Time) then lets roll.
If he feels he needs another week to make trades or understand the rules then lets bump it back a week.
Sorry for the silence.

We'll probably need a quick reminder as to exactly how this process works. Should we just post our cuts here or are we emailing them to the league office? We all know Dan is a stickler for procedure :D

Seems like last year, we posted the team we were keeping and several people added the cuts below their settled-on roster.
It would be good to have them seen by all in case someone wants to offer you a draft pick for one of your cut players (if they don't think they're obtainable during the free agent grab bag period).

Yes that is a good idea - We did post the cuts. As a final resort, I will take the cuts via email by the deadline.
I plan on posting my cuts on Sunday and if someone wants to offer trades before the final timeline, then I can see some wheeling and dealing done this weekend and Monday.
More fun for the owners.
