Week 4 AP Poll

1 3 Unemployment U. Won the battle of the unbeaten this week to unseat Marcell's Shipp. Not a bad start for one of our rookie owners.
2 2 Camelot U Still a very solid team
3 5 Procrastination U. My gut tells me that this is the best team going forward. Everyone is really clicking now and both running backs are total studs. This team definitely has a sizeable lead on the total points. Another big win like last week and they may move to #1 despite the two losses.
4 1 Marcells Shipp U.
5 6 Loblolly U.
6 7 Taxidermy Tech The Beaver Stuffers remain strong with huge performances from Gilyard, LeFevour and Herron. They will be a tough team to beat.
7 4 Boredom U. Well this week the bottom fell out for Boredom U. Now from here on out its as SMU goes, so does Boredom U.
8 8 C. of Lawn Mower Repair Baron Batch looks 100% again so this team could be looking up. The receivers need to come more to life.
9 10 Shoot them All U. Got a close win to keep him from falling back further and stop the bleeding a bit.
10 9 Pungo U. The loss to Procrastination U. could be all she wrote for Pungo this year. Still with 6 weeks to go a 5 game winning streak could put him back in the mix for the playoffs.
11 11 U. of Dreaded Deeds Quite a reversal of fortune from this year to last.
12 12 Death Valley U.

I feel like my team fits in perfectly with this years college football season so far.

One week they look like world beaters and move into the top 10, the next they get humiliated and exposed as frauds. :wigglypea:

You're telling me Steebo. Last week after cashing in on USF exposing FSU I get my brains beat in by the Miami Hurricanes. I have decided that I will not put anymore money on college this weekend and go all to the pros as I am having luck there which is odd.

That's typically the way it is but not this season. Usually if the Colts are a 3 point underdog and you think "oh man that's easy money", they lost by 4 points or whatever and you lose your shirt. Now, it really is easy money if you follow certain key principles of betting. In college its starting to be the way the pros were at least in this season (See Florida/Tenn, BYU/FSU, BYU/OKL, LSU/Miss St, etc).

I sucked big-time in my college pick 'em last week, missing 8 out of 15 games. It was my worst week by far. :balls:

I'm all about parity in college football, but its almost gone past parity and into complete randomness. :moe:

Just got back from Vegas.

College games killed me. FSU at home verses a USF team starting a frosh QB. Easy money, right? I took the over in the Florida-Kentucky game (53), score was 31-7 at the half, they didn't cover. I took Penn State. I hit a two team parlay with Va Tech and Alabama. And hit the over on the Rice-Vandy game. Other than that, college was a dud.

Luckily I cleaned up with pro football. The Colts and Cowboys capped a nice comeback for me. Going again in November for the UFC fight, and I am going to try and stay away from college games. I used to make more on college than pros, and now it is the compete opposite.

I didn't put any money on the Cal game, although it seemed like the entire sportsbook took Cal -5.5. My friend started to get annoyed because every five seconds I was asking "Have you seen Jamare Holland in the game?"

My team was pretty much garbage this week except for Keenum and Carrier. Keenum with 500+ yards and 5 Tds. Nice! :hyper:


Also, I'm still up for trading Terrell Pryor. His last 3 weeks have been 39 points, 12 points, and 28 points respectively. I'm not asking a whole lot... just help me upgrade somewhere. Pryor + ________ for upgrade.
