I totally thought this was going to be the George Muresan story... but it wasn't!$#
Really good movie though. Characters were well developed, Willis and MosDef do a good job, and the plot (for the most part) keeps you guessing. Well worth the $10.

Agreed, I liked this movie a lot better than I thought I would.

Expected a decent action flick/cop movie with a couple good actors... and got a good freaking movie. Hasn't happened in a while.

It got me thinking though, how in the world did he get himself as a headliner? "16 Blocks, starring Bruce Willis, Mos Def and David Morse." It's not like he's that big of a draw at this point, I wonder if that's something you can negotiate as a part of the contract :dunno:

He's a good "3rd Man" I guess.

He's a well respected actor. What's Mos Def done to earn second billing?!@# :hmpf

Clearly Orgazmo does not understand the power that is "street cred". :hmpf:

Another St. Elsewhere alum. That cast (Morse, Denzel Washington, Helen Hunt, Mark Harmon, Ed Begley Jr., Christina Pickles) has gone on to do some good things.
Oh yeah...I forgot about Howie Mandel, Flounder (Stephen Furst) and the voice of Kitt (William Daniels).:hyper:

I'm ashamed to admit that we're starting to have some love for the Deal or No Deal show.

My wife told me that she saw Howie Mandel on ET or one of those shows, and he has OCD. Apparently, he is completely skeeved by shaking hands with the contestants...so it is fun to watch him now, and recognize how uncomfortable he is touching other people.:hyper:
