I'm amending my plans to include watching the NCAA first round tournament games. Prepare accordingly.

Normally I would be jealous of someone going to Vegas during March madness, but the 1200 dollars I lost gambling last time still has me pissed off.

I've never been to Vegas. I hope to head out there someday. Is it really that great?

Ok not to be a buzzkill, but please explain to me the lure of Vegas. From what I understand, you can either pay $300 to see Celine Dion or Penn and Teller, or you can gamble. While I spend more time playing poker then I spend working some weeks, i do not understand the point of gambling in a casino. The games are set up to give you the player a 42% - 48% chance of winning in games against the house. I dont see the point in voluntarily paying money to play a game where the odds are stacked against you.

Surprisingly enough, my love of Vegas has nothing to do with Celine Dion and little to do with gambling. I think its more of the no holds barred attitude that everyone has there. Everyone there is there to get fucking weird, which is a good combination. The nightlife is second to none, the strip clubs are fantastic, and there are tons of places to eat. Also, nothing ever really closes.

As far as the gambling goes, I know that I am going to do some gambling and I know I'm going to lose. I enjoy doing it because I drink for free and usually it leads to me staying for free. I try to keep it under control, though, and do most of my damage at the clubs.

Wow, that's a kraziness post. I'm pretty passionate about Vegas, though.

BAM! That's it right there bro.
Women (including girlfriends and wives) find themselves thinking that "skinny dipping" at the Palms sounds fun. They want to gamble, eat, dance, drink, fuck, and go completely nuts the whole time they're there. And god forbid you actually are winning money... shows, and drinks, more shows, more drinks, x-rated show, sex, drinking, gambling, great hotels, non-stop "action"... sleazy, classy... whatever you want. It's there.
Book yourself in a nice hotel. Bring a little money. You get to be a rock star for a week.
