My thoughts are that this was a fun but time consuming league.
I actually didn't have a problem with only having 6 teams in the league as I think it added a different dynamic. Our team pool seemed really nice as there were always defensive free agents to consider. Offensively the pool was fairly shallow.
Its a ton of work to do free agency and get a lineup in every week.
Free agency was a blast. I loved that format. Thanks to HC for coming up with it.
I'd like to see us add tight ends to the other league. That seemed to be a lot of fun for me and added a new dynamic to the draft for offensive players.
I found tracking down the scores easy to do if I went directly to the school's website and then went to their schedule and clicked on the stats for a particular game. In many cases the stats were up within a few hours of the game ending.
A couple of teams more or less quit the league about mid-way. I would guess due to the work required to score the games and draft a lineup.
I'd consider doing this league again next year but I'd need more help as commish.

Eric,
I agree with all your points. This league is cutting edge as I assume someday U-Sports or someone will attempt to try to automate IDP. This has been a tough year for me and I just couldn't keep up with all the manual work needed so I apologize for the delays.
As a matter of fact, I am going to step down from all my fantasy leagues (EXCEPT YOUR MAIN LEAGUE). I have to prioritize my time so I feel this is necessary. I am not quitting your main league as that is my favorite and I have built some really good friendships there. It's a league where the scoring and FA is automated and the slow live draft format makes it easier on the time constraints. It will be my only fantasy league so that will help me out tremendously.
Thanks for spear-heading this IDP experiment but I am afraid I will not be back. I look forward to contuning to participate in the other league for many years to come....and yes, adding TEs is not a bad idea.
Take care,
Dave

I think I know someone who could accomodate this league with automated scoring, we would have to pay for the service but I think it could definitely be done. I really enjoyed the league and definitely am down to do it again and I will help out as much as I can.

I'm very interested in this Justice. See if you can get us a quote. An automated service would likely increase the interest in this league next year.

Dave, glad to hear you enjoyed it and glad you are coming back to the main league. I totally understand the time constraints though. I should be in better shape this time next year but this year with moving it was absolutely nuts.

That's not bad at all really. I'd pay that for the privelige.
