Actually, the reason I originally sent it is that I thought PayPal charged the recipient a few cents for every transaction. Thus I was really just trying to screw (what I hoped was) Swerski. Bad Karma words I guess.

Yes they do, and so you sent .01, and they took .01.

So your plan worked to some extent, just wasn't swerski!

I'm interested to learn that you can actually charge $0.01 to a Visa card. I think I'll dispute the charge when I get my bill just to see how much hassle I can cause over $0.01.
