Derek Bell is an inspiration to all of us. After he hit -763 for the Buccos he righteously complained that he would have to compete for a starting gig. When he was told that, well, you sucked balls, he declared "Operation Shutdown" and was summarily cut from the team. Afterwards, he was quoted as saying he'll just "ride off into the sunset on his yacht."
Apparently, a "yacht" is a crack pipe. I'm really, really proud to be a stalwart Pirates' fan. I want, nay, DEMAND, a celebrity tag-team deathmatch between Bell/Jose Lind vs. Strawberry/Gooden. Fuck Bill Simmons. I want control of ESPN the OCHO!
