FFT is still there, if you would rather hang out at the Geek club/mange board feel free to do so. Noone is forcing you to become a part of FAI society. I do ask that you give it a legitimate chance instead of instantly writing it off.
That being said, I dont know how you could even compare FFT with FAI. They are both FF message boards but the similarities stop there. How long do you think you would last at FFT with your current sig, DD? Or even the post you just made.
FAI is WAAAAAY more open to different peoples posting styles than FFT. Also, as far as the league message board goes, I would like to know why you think FFT is so much better.

It may not be FFT...and I didn't see the reason for making the move so quickly - but this ball banging dude is pretty damn funny.

Hopefully we'll win your loyalty in time. We really think we have a better product than anything else out there, and in time I believe this will be the place to be.
The problem is we chose to debut this site in the offseason (to work out the kinks, get our format down, and solicit a following). I think at the end of the day the timing of our debut will prove to be a good decision, but right now, being a fantasy football site and it being the offseason and all, it's a bit stagnant.
We're definitely aware of the complaints of the lack of activity. The only thing that'll improve this place is mook participation, and that's something we really can't force without being lame. So be patient with us, I guess.

I'm not worth winning the loyalty of at this point. There was a time when I spent a lot of time posting on fantasy football websites, but that time is past. My loyalties for this league lie with FFT for many reasons. I've been posting there for a long time. From a league perspective, it's because we were the first "board league" that was created. From a personal perspective, I've had a very positive history at FFT. Part of that relationship was in terms of writing draft articles without hard deadlines. Feature mock draft participation.....things like that.
Megla has been there even longer than me and is much much more involved in the non-football communities there.

I guess I'm asking why show loyalty to a site that continually crashes? Of course sites will crash once in awhile, due to natural causes or hackers, but FFT seems to be extremely susceptible to crashing. Months and months at a time.
I guess I don't understand the blind loyalty.

NO fucking shit this league is tired. Many of us have been saying that for years now, so this isnt a new proclimation. A change of location cant do anything to hurt, in fact it may just breathe some life into this dead-ass league.
And as far as the admins posting in our forum, from what I can see the main thing they are doing is replying to bashes and comments on their site. If nothing else we at least know that they know we are here and give a shit about us, and i'll guaren-goddamn-tee you that its better than being totally ignored by the admins. like at FFT.
If you feel THAT strongly about them not posting in the forum, then I am sure they will comply with that. I would think that everyone in the league would want to see what others are saying, weather they gave a shit about "their useless opinions" or not. But if you would rather have them express their opinions to me in private, or on another forum for that matter, then fine.

It's not going to win my loyalty. Seriously, sites with no volume and no publicity aren't going to have problems with crashes and hackers. Duh.

I've addressed this before, but why do we care (as league members) how much volume or "publicity" the site has? :headscratch: It's not like our league is some kind of gold standard for fantasy football mooks to look for. People don't log into fftoday to follow all the witty banter or check out the latest rash of non-trades made in the league.
Also, if you love the forarms so much, why don'cha marry them?:D
