When will the floodgates be opened for this to become a "public" board?
How will folks be invited?
Can I invite guys from my money league over here?
Are Leagues going to have boards here similar to FFToday?
Can we call the leaders of the board "inchers"?;)

It already is. The floodgates were opened once we started inviting you mooks over here.

How will folks be invited?

Word of mouth, for right now. We're hoping you guys enjoy this place enough to recruit others. We know that we run a risk of getting uber-mooks over here, but for now that'll only happen if one of us invites them.

Once the main page gets up and running, we'll be able to attract people via search engines. Until then, it'll just be by word of mouth.

Can I invite guys from my money league over here?

Hells yes. I'd like to get input from non-FFTers, as well as you all.

Most likely. Probably not as many though.

Better than FAIries. But not much.

I havent consulted the brethren, but I'm gonna go ahead and set policy that known sex offenders will be banned.

I exchange e-mails with about 30 guys from my era at ND. I'm thinking of e-mailing the link to all. At least one of them would be an instant hit with Torrid...he essentially wants to cede from the Union and form his own government in northern Indiana.:D Another was part of a US weapons think-tank in the mid-80's.

I guess I'll wait until this place starts picking up a bit, and we get a few more non-insiders on board. I'd hate to invite 30 people over and then spend time talking to each other about ND. We already do that via e-mail.

But seriously -- I see nothing but usual suspects here. I'm not mistaken, from what TK wrote, that as members, the powers that be would like us to invite anyone who we feel might add value here.

I'm sure that's the case. I think we're just invited here first to test things out and make very helpful (make AW a moderator) suggestions.

Absolutely, the more the merrier--we'd like to keep the ND discussion at the college football board because 30 people talking ND football here really could make this board something other than intended, but your friends are welcome here, as long as they aren't aliases or known sex offenders.

30 people talking ND football here really could make this board something other than intended:confused:

Seriously, I'm pretty sure that all 30 wouldn't join -- I tried to get them to go onto my own board to talk ND football, and only about 3 of them went. The other guys all said they were happy with status quo.

So far, I only invited one guy from my FF league. I think he lurks on footballguys, so this will be a welcome change for him.

Also, he's a member of the tribe, so you guys can get your own board going.;)
