# 32 -- Sam Baker, OL, USC
Class: RS SR
Hometown: Tustin, Calif.
High School: Tustin HS
Height / Weight: 6-5 / 305
Position: OT
Career Stats:
He's a lineman; can't find any stats
Who is he:
He's big, he's mean, and he's one of two Offensive Lineman to make my top 40. Lendale and Reggie were talented RBs for USC, but Baker was the main force paving the way for Lendale to get his wide-ass through the line. He's already one of the top NFL prospects in the nation, and his size and technique make him a surefire blue-chipper on the next level. This year will be more difficult for the Trojans, but there should be plenty of running lanes behind Baker and John David Booty should have ample time to get his passes off.
Notes:
- All American OL more than once
- Lombardi Watch List
- All Pac 10
- Other honorable mentions
What to Expect in ’06:
Baker's lost a lot of players that made him look really good, but he's still going to get his job done. He's one of the few things USC will have back this year that they know will be 100% dependable game in and game out. He'll make stars out of a few new USC skill position guys.
