I can only keep 3 and I have to make my decision by Monday.

Here is my roster:

QB: S.Carney AF, Jr
RB: L.Coker Ten, So
RB: K.Irons Aub, Sr
RB: B.Lester Aub, Jr
RB: J.Thomas N Texas, Jr (I only give up an 8th rounder if I keep him)
RB: C.White UAB Sr
RB: S.Thornton Fla Sr
WR: JL Higgins UTEP Sr
WR: S Bailey Ga Sr
WR: D McPhearson Ill So (I only give up a 13th rounder if I keep him)
WR: J Finley Ore Sr

I'm leaning toward Carney, Irons and Jamario Thomas. Higgins is possible.

Basically the decision is between Higgins and Jamario.

Very scientific reasons behind this: Jamario (the one of the two that I've heard of).

Yeah. He had an incredible freshman season but last year was pathetic. They did allow Patrick Cobbs to get a majority of carries and that could have contributed. Something was obviously wrong with the offensive line last year and I'm just hoping they have corrected it.

What kind of players will be available in the draft? I'm guessing it'd be harder to replace a top WR like Higgins than a RB from a stats perspective, right?

An 800 Yard, 8 TD WR is probably a high-end #2, right? I might be over-estimating; not sure. Also Jordan Palmer is back again so that might be a good thing for Higgins.

Thomas might be the pick, but I can name 15 unsung RBs that'll probably put up good stats this year, but WRs are harder to predict and Higgins has been consistent the past 2 years (700/10 and 830/9).

Also for future reference, would you stick to asking about players in my top 40 so I can speak on the situation. :D

Also, isn't Bailey out for the year? I think he tore something.

I can remember being nearly 100% that McPhearson was going to Clemson last year; I really thought he was ours.

Bailey's pretty much garbage anyway because we can't predict anything about the Dogs offense just yet. McPhearson is someone I'll just have to target for a late round in the draft. He is probably a year away from blowing up.

Massaqoui will definitely be #1 in Athens anyway... I would actually expect good #s from him if Cox wins the starting job; they were HS teammates in NC.

Things have changed big-time in our league since I posted this. Keeper decisions have been extended for a week since we just added 1 point per reception. I had turned in Irons, Jamario, and Carney. Higgins suddenly has a lot more value now and I'm thinking of dumping Carney for him but I'm not sure. Now I'll get a pick in the 3rd round and could snag Higgins or a marginally better receiver there if I keep Jamario since I only have to give up an 8th for him. I may just stand pat and hope for the best.

I was on the fence with that one but decided to go with it. I did note that I'd rather have it be effective next year rather than this year. I never expected it to pass though.
