# 30 -- Brandon Siler, LB, Florida

Height/Weight: 6-2 · 230
Class: Junior, 2L
Hometown: Orlando
High School: Evans

Career Stats:

CAREER DEFENSIVE STATISTICS
Year UT-AT TT TBL QBS FF FR PD INT
2004 50-27 77 10 2 0 0 3 0
2005 33-31 64 10 5 0 7 5 0
Totals: 83-58 141 20 7 0 7 8 0

Who is he:
In the past 2 years, Siler has become a force to reckon with roaming the Swamp. I have him ranked as the #2 LB in the SEC and the #3 returning LB in the entire nation. He's got a great combination of size and speed that will make him an elite prospect at the next level. Siler always has a knack for swarming to the ball, which led to his 7 fumble recoveries in 2005. Assuming Florida's DLine can keep the opposing teams line from breaking into the second level, expect another big year from Siler who could possibly make the jump to the NFL after this season.

Notes:
- SEC Freshman of the Year 2004
- 2004 Scripps/FWAA Freshman All-America first-team defense
- Tabbed preseason Second Team All-American by The Sporting News
- The Sporting News' All-Freshman first-team defense
- First-Team Freshman Defensive All-American by The Sporting News in 2004
- Rivals.com All-Freshman Team
- Watch List for the Lombardi Award

What to Expect in ’06:
If Florida is to have a big season in it's second year under Urban Meyer, Siler will have to be the leader on this defense. His knack for getting to the play should lead to high tackle #s and turnovers as well. I expect Florida to be an improved team with Chris Leak on the offensive side of the ball, which should give Siler and the defense more opportunities to make plays
Projection: 85 Tackles, 15 TFL, 8 Sacks, 5 turnovers forced or recovered
