Sippah Cups (Jackal)
QB T. Romo DAL
QB. D. Garrard JAC
RB C. Benson CIN
RB C. Johnson TEN
RB C. Portis WAS
RB C. Taylor CHI
RB J. Ringer TEN
WR D. Jackson PHI
WR C. Ochocinco CIN
WR S. Smith II NYG
WR S. Breaston ARI
TE V. Shiancoe MIN
TE Z. Miller OAK
K D. Akers PHI
D/ST Pittsburgh Steelers
D/ST Chicago Bears

QB - Pleased to have Romo, he has a good set of WR's and TE to throw to. Garrard was a "best available" pick. Grade B

RB - Happy my two starting RB's (Johnson and Benson). Not thrilled with Portis, but he and Taylor will make a decent bye week plug. I probably took Ringer too early, but I see him as a handcuff to Johnson because Blount is a powderkeg waiting to explode. Grade A-

WR - Jackson is a good #1 as long as he remembers to spike the ball AFTER he crosses the goal line! I don't have ANY idea who my #2 WR will be. Grade C

TE- Shiancoe was a homer pick, but by the same token, with the plight of the Vikes WR corp, he could be in for a good year. Miller plays for a team that has no WR help, plus Campbell likes to throw to the TE. Grade B

K - Eh, Akers was a best available pick. Really wanted Kaeding but SOMEBODY right before me (*cough* pisl *cough*) took him! Grade C

D/ST - PIT (Palomanu) and CHI (Urlacher/Peppers) both are solid D's. Grade B

Overall team grade: B

Jerome Harrison Jerome Harrison Fantasy News will get a large bump in the next release of the rankings, along with Peyton Hillis Peyton Hillis Fantasy News and James Davis James Davis Fantasy News.

1st rule: Absolutely no editing of posts. If you do those players do not count toward your current eligible subs. If you wish to change your players simply reply with a new list. Don't expect me to read your mind because I won't even try.

From the rules:

Emergency/Substitute Player Policy

There will remain open on FAI a thread for emergency/sub players in case of an unannounced player change due to an injury that occurred prior to the game or a discipline issue that was unannounced our any other reasonable instance where a player was expected to play and did not because of information that was not made available prior to game time. The player must not have accumulated any fantasy points to be eligible to be subbed. If a player injures himself or is otherwise removed from the game during pre-game warm-ups or before accumulating stats the player can not be subbed for an emergency/sub player.

A link to an article of a reputable news source such as a local newspaper, national news source, or blog by an established journalist (no links to internet football community forums and random sports fan blogs will be allowed) stating why the player didn't play must be emailed to the commissioner within 24 hours of the game's kickoff in order to call up a reserve. The commissioner’s decision on the use of this policy is final in all cases.

Each owner may list up to one reserve at every position except for defense.

1.) Loblolly U - Case Keenum has me wishing this was an auction league. I mean its a huge advantage knowing you can count on 40 per week for your qb and allows you to draft more aggressively later. I'm going to go ahead and predict that Ellington becomes a top 5 RB this year in this league. Any development of a WR1 should take this team to the championship game.

Impact player: Case Keenum, Duh Sleeper: Stephen Hill, Ga Tech X-factor - Jeff Fuller, Texas A&M

2.) Camelot U - A solid team from top to bottom. I think this team is one built for the playoffs.

Impact player: Jacquizz Rodgers, Oregon St Sleeper: Andre Dubose, Fla x-Factor: Anthony Allen, Ga Tech

3.) Texas Minutemen - Had a steady draft. QB and WRs are anchored by offensive system players which is a great thing.

Impact Player: LaMichael James, Oregon, Sleeper: Darius Johnson, WR SMU, X-factor: Hubert Anyiam, WR Okl St

4.) Unemployment U - On any week that Brantley produces I think this team wins all those games.
Impact Player: Ryan Broyles, Okl Sleeper: John Brantley, Fla X-factor: Kendall Hunter, Okl St

5.) Pungo U - The always competitive Pungo U looks to have his work cut out for him this year as QB will be interesting figuring out who to start although I feel like Crist should stick as a QB1. Otherwise a solid team on RB, WR and D.

Impact player: Vai Taua, Nevada Sleeper: Justin Blackmon, Okl St X-factor: Tracy Moore, Okl St

6.) College of Lawn Mower Repair - Strong starter positions and decent depth throughout. A matchup oriented team at QB. If Bernard Pierce shows his 2009 form this team should move to the top of the poll.

Impact Player: Bernard Pierce, Temple Sleeper: James Green, Toledo X-factor: Cameron Newton, Auburn

7.) U. of Dreaded Deeds

Impact Player: Jerrod Johnson, Tex A&M Sleeper: James Kirkendoll, Texas X-factor: Wes Kemp, Missouri

8.) Procrastination U - The defending champ looks to be a much weaker team this year. I just can't see this team having the explosiveness that it did last year. On paper the WRs should carry the team. If Texas Tech puts up good #'s out of the QB position then things will be drastically different. I don't project that though.

Impact player: Dion Lewis, Pit Sleeper: DeVier Posey, Ohio St X-factor: Taylor Potts, TT

9.) Shoot them all U: A pretty balanced team overall.

Impact Player: John Clay, RB Wis Sleeper: Deonte Thompson, Florida X-factor: Morgan Williams, Toledo

10.) Death Valley U - Not an impressive team on paper before the start of the year but they never really are for Death Valley. Somehow though, he always is a tough game on the schedule and finds his way to the playoffs so watch out. I always underestimate his teams.

Impact player: Kellen Moore, Boise St Sleeper: Bert Reed, WR FSU x-Factor: Noel Devine, WV

11.) Boredom U - Will need some magic if Derrick Washington doesn't see the field this year. The QB will carry the team but nothing else really stands out as scary.

Impact player: Kaepernick Sleeper: Theo Riddick, Notre Dame x-Factor: Adam Robinson, Iowa

12.) Cripple Tech

Impact player: Mark Ingram, Ala Sleeper: Vincent Smith, Michigan X-factor: James Rodgers, Oregon State
